On May 16, 2025, a team of Lommen Abdo attorneys, paralegals and staff joined hundreds of other volunteers at Target Field in Minneapolis to take part in Pack at the Park, a mobile meal-packing event hosted by Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). This was Lommen Abdo’s third year participating in the event. The Lommen Abdo team packed over 800 meals that will be shipped to children in need around the world.

The event gave the team a chance to step out of the office and come together for a cause that resonates deeply. Lommen Abdo’s Brooke Raser had this to say about the event:

“Participating in Pack at the Park was important to us because we believe that every child deserves access to nutritious meals, no matter where they live,” Brooke shared. “It felt empowering to be part of something so impactful and to know that the meals we packed would go toward making a real difference.”

The energy at the event was uplifting, with volunteers moving in sync to assemble meal kits in record time. The sense of unity and shared purpose was palpable.

“My favorite part of the experience was seeing how many people came together to support such an important cause,” Brooke added. “Volunteering alongside my Lommen Abdo colleagues made the experience even more special.”

Attorney Christopher Luehr, who also participated in the event, echoed those sentiments:

“I really enjoy getting to know colleagues outside the office and volunteering for a good cause together.”

Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating childhood hunger. Their simple, hands-on approach—donate, pack, distribute, nourish—makes it easy for volunteers to contribute in a meaningful way. Events like Pack at the Park are a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community comes together for something greater.

We’re proud of our Lommen Abdo team for stepping up and giving back—and we’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to serve.
