After more than five decades practicing law, Glenn Kessel retired from Lommen Abdo at the end of April. Glenn’s legal career spanned more than 55 years and included decades of dedicated service to the firm, his clients, and the legal profession.
Before beginning his legal career, Glenn served in the Navy and worked as a chemical engineer for 3M. He later returned to law school and went on to build a long and respected career as an attorney in Minnesota. Throughout his time at Lommen Abdo, Glenn was known for his professionalism, loyalty, and thoughtful approach to both his work and the people around him. In addition to his legal practice, he also played an important role in the administration of the firm for many years.
Bob Abdo, who first met Glenn when they attended law school together beginning in 1967 and later practiced together as law partners for 20 years, reflected on Glenn’s retirement and the impact he had on the firm over the course of his career. Bob shared that Glenn was a loyal and valued contributor whose professionalism, dedication, and commitment to clients earned him the respect of both colleagues and clients alike.
“Glenn has been a tremendous friend, colleague, and partner at the firm for many years,” Bob said. “I wish him nothing but the very best as he begins this well-earned next chapter.”
We thank Glenn for his many years of service and wish him all the best in retirement.
