Joseph M. Simmer / Biography
Joe Simmer is a civil litigator handling matters involving insurance defense, civil litigation, professional liability and general litigation.
Joe has years of litigation experience in the Minneapolis office of a national firm as a trial attorney handling civil litigation and professional liability matters, including first-chair jury trial experience in complex medical-legal litigation. He also previously worked in the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General handling civil matters and advising government boards.
Joe is a qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice.
Joe graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth in 2007 with a B.S. in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology, a B.A. in Chemistry, and a B.A. in Criminology.
Away from the office, Joe enjoys being outside and enjoying Minnesota’s four seasons. He resides in the Twin Cities with his wife and two young children.
