John Crawford presented a webinar to approximately 52 claims professionals at a major insurance company on February 10th. The webinar was titled “Litigation Strategies for Reducing Exposure to Insurers and Insureds” and covered the following topics:

• Strategies for reducing or eliminating plaintiff’s pre-judgment interest under Minn. Stat. § 549.09.
• Strategies for shifting costs and disbursements to the plaintiff and eliminating the plaintiff’s right to tax costs under Rule 68.
• Strategies and methods for reducing a plaintiff’s medical expenses to the actual amount paid by a health insurer or government program.
• Strategies for moving a case to the most favorable venue for the defendant.
