This October, Lommen Abdo hosted its annual fall fundraiser, the Fall Freshness Drive, to support People Incorporated’s Street Outreach team. People Incorporated provides essential services to individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness, and this year’s drive focused on collecting hygiene products—simple but vital items that can make a significant difference in someone’s daily life.
Building on the success of last year’s Socktober Sock Drive, which resulted in the donation of 400 pairs of socks, the Fall Freshness Drive shifted its focus to hygiene products such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, travel-size shampoos, body wash, and feminine hygiene items.
The firm came together with great enthusiasm, resulting in an impressive collection of items. These donations will be distributed by People Incorporated’s Street Outreach team to individuals in our community who are experiencing homelessness, helping to meet essential needs and bring dignity to those in challenging circumstances.
Reflecting on the drive, Activities Committee chair Heidi Torvik said, “It’s always amazing to see the way our team comes together to support important causes. Delivering the hygiene products to People Incorporated and seeing their appreciation firsthand made it clear how much these donations will help individuals in our community. Efforts like this remind us of the importance of giving back.”
At Lommen Abdo, we are proud to support organizations like People Incorporated and are committed to giving back to the communities we serve. These efforts reflect our belief that small acts of generosity can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this year’s Fall Freshness Drive. Your generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand truly make a difference.
