Minnesota + Wisconsin Law Firm
Friendly and Approachable
At Lommen Abdo, we pride ourselves on being a law firm with a “down home” attitude, focused on serving individuals, main street businesses, and larger companies. Even though our principal office is in downtown Minneapolis, we strive to provide you with a small town feel and make you our top priority. Our lawyers are not just professionals; they are friendly, easily approachable, and ensure that they have your goals for your case or legal matter at the forefront of their representation. In both our Minneapolis and Hudson offices, we offer big-firm knowledge and experience without over-staffing your legal team, ensuring you receive personalized attention.
Collaborative Spirit with a National Reach
Our collaborative approach ensures you get the best possible outcomes. While it may feel like you have a large firm working on your behalf, you’ll have direct access to your attorney without navigating through layers of support staff. We efficiently and cost-effectively deliver legal services by drawing on the collective experience of our team. With our national presence in vaccine litigation, a Midwest presence in appellate work, and our state and federal practice capabilities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and South Dakota, we are well-equipped to serve clients across the region and the nation.
Caring for Clients + Communities
We believe in “working to live, not living to work.” This philosophy allows us to participate actively in our communities, making us better lawyers with the creativity to solve complex legal issues. Our team, from leadership to associates, from shareholders to paralegals, and our administrative team, balances professional dedication with personal engagement. We build relationships and friendships that benefit our clients by spending time with our families, supporting local businesses, and networking with industry professionals to develop and nurture long-lasting relationships based on mutual trust and admiration.

Our History of Success
Lommen Abdo has its roots in the 1940s. It has taken on leadership roles in national anti-trust, mass tort, vaccine, and legal malpractice litigation matters. Once known as an insurance defense firm, over the past three decades its litigation focus has shifted to include commercial litigation, medical malpractice, wrongful death and other complex litigation and appeals.
The firm has also expanded its corporate practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, tax and estate planning practice. It has also expanded the business practice of its Hudson office, which was opened 30 years ago. Through the years, Lommen Abdo has continued to successfully reposition its overall practice with several strategic mergers and lateral hires.
